I decided to take a vacation by myself when I take Derrick to camp.
Not that I can really afford it. But its a 3 1/2 hour drive one way. And it would take two days for me to take him and 2 to go get him. So since camp is from Sunday till Friday morning. We are leaving tomorrow afternoon. Because I started this thing a couple of years ago of taking Derrick on a mini vacation before camp. And I couldn't get away before tomorrow. He is going to the other side of Chicago to camp. And I've not been up there by myself before. I've got some friends in the area. But because I don't want to have to worry about my feet. What I eat or anything like that. I chose to get a motel with breakfast, and some nice things, like a pool, hot tub, suana, and a fitness center. I'm hoping their fitness center is nice. I've been using the ones were we stay with IN*Source for business. ANd its helped me a lot. But I need to find something for me and Derrick to also do. So enjoy the next 10 days. And I'll be back. Hopefully no worse for wear. I'm hoping I can solve this foot mess somehow. I had tennis shoes on again today, and I don't know why but that is always bad. Donna |
