Dearest Mari, and everyone else,

Thanks for thinking of me and posting a hello over the holidays, they let me out on leave so to speak so that I was able to spend time with my family over Christmas Day and Boxing Day which has been lovely this year. Quite special really as it has been the first family Christmas in over 7 years that we have been able to sit and have to ourselves without past issues and interferences which there have been due to family ties overseas and at home etc.

Anyway it has been a lovely day but I have got tired very easily a few times due to the medication and the tremors are setting in even as I am typing this to you, they seem to come more at night and especially when I am concentrating on something, so irritating, honestly it makes you want to scream sometimes doesn't it, the patience you need to have with yourself and this illness wears you out.

It has been all in all though a great day with my sister and my parents although I did find the noise at times too much to take - so used to the peace and quiet I wanted to retreat but had nowhere to retreat to. There were a few times actually to be honest when I would have got in the car and driven back to the hospital but it is two hours away and I am not licenced to drive at the moment.

There you go - I hope that you have had a lovely time and best wishes to you and your family. That is all of my news! Take care! And have a good Boxing Day!

Hi Boxer,

I know that all too well feeling of wanting to retreat back to the hospital after being out. i am glad that your day was lovely inspite of the feelings of wanting to retreat. Sometime it just takes awhile I know.

Dear Boxer,
The first decent family Christmas in 7 years IS newsworthy.
You have a milestone/accomplishment.

Keep giving us news.
My hubby and I went out for Chinese food with two Jewish friends on Christmas. We don't exactly have boxing day here. Folks go back to work or go back to the stores to return things -- maybe it is the same there. I am on vaction and trying to relax.
Thanks for sending good wishes.

Mari
