Teeth So excited! Jackie LET them FILL his cavaty!!

Man it was like watching a magic show, the dentist was SO GOOD with him! I was really worried it would be all HE11 breaking loose if he saw the needle but he didn't, he got 15 mgs of valuim and nitrus oxide to help KEEP him relaxed and they were just so gentle and talked him through every step, only told him they were 'cleaning his teeth really good, to get the bad bugs off it" and he was so compliant, I was amazed, utterly amazed! So my prayers were answered! He got his first filling and hardly noticed the novacaine!

Sorry to be hyper, but this is SO major! I am bouncing off the walls! We got up at 5 and got him up at 6am to get there by 7:45 for his 8 am appt. They gave us a block of three appts back to back and it went awesomely! She got some sealant on the other back tooth so it won't get a cavaty like the one she filled. NExt time she will do the final two remaining cavaties and set up the other tooth back there with some sealant. I love this place, they ROCK!

I am so happy he did so well! I just can't express how anxious this appt made me, I put it off once already in June and today we went and it just went off really well. I was so ecstatic! I guess almost manic high over witnessing just how relaxed he was throughout the entire procudeure, he was AWESOME! So glad I can share it with you here. I have so much else going on it's really fantastic to have some GOOD news to think about for a change! *bounces happily in her chair*

I might just have to make a trip down there to visit that dentist! I hate going to the dentist but know it's necessary. I'm just a big baby.....

I sat there with my hands clawing my chair arms in anxiety but he didn't freak out even a little. They really treated him with kid gloves and I really appreciated it. Jack was there of course and he was just as happy to see the work getting done that we thought would never happen. Well Jack was like "Failure is not an option" when it comes to getting this done, but I was ready to say okay to full sedation and having to go to the main hospital to do it but it's gonna work out great.

The morning started off bad with me waking up with a migraine, but it sure got better! Thank God for Imitrex! LOL!
