I remembered this thread.
I've just started watching it on Netflix and I am enjoying it. I like his character. He has a heart of gold and he's honest and fair to boot. I wondered why Robert Taylor looked familiar, so I looked him up and found out where he came from. I remember him from The Matrix now. I can never hear any Australian accent at all. Lou Diamond Phillips is excellent as well. It's great viewing. I wouldn't have known about it if not for this older thread. |

I just finished episode one of season one after a half day of work. I think this is my go to show when time permits.

Episode 4 season 1. Hooked like the two dead peeps at the start.

I forget where I got up to because I was watching it on Netflix or something and I cancelled that a while back. It was a huge cliffhanger ending. I gathered there were more to come and we just didn't have them here in Australia yet. I hope to see more of it one day soon.
Great you're enjoying it. I certainly did |

Henry to Longmire- Is that the reason you came here? To judge me?
Longmire- Well, not the only reason... I am burning through episodes. We had a lazy winter day and I had headphones and a tablet going quite a bit.

Knee deep in season three. Walt, Henry, I think I like them both equally. The story Henry tells Branch about how he and Walt csme to meet in 6th grade was brilliant.
If you enjoy Westerns, cop shows, detetctive shows, well done narratives that weave throughout seasons, Longmire. I'm not surprised AMC had their hand in starting this, though I am shocked they dropped the ball in npt continuing it. Kudos to Netflix for picking it up. The writers understand nuance so well. I'd give examples, but frankly I don't want to spoil the ride. If you are looking for a new show, Walt for prez.
