Default The King

I watched a programme a few nights ago about Elvis Presley. It was one of those best song countdown type of programmes.
Being around the same age as Elvis would have been if he had not died I was led to thinking how much he influenced our lives even to the present day.
When Elvis was just a young man boys and girls dressed like their moms and dads, and more importantly thought like their parents.
Elvis changed all that with his style of music that said youth has it's own voice.
Which led to the hippie culture, flower power, protest and a style of dress for youth.
Today youth dominates our culture and in my opinion they can thank the King for that.
