Josh had a long talk with Julianna and the co-creators of the show. Julianna was the one who got him on the show to start with. They are good friends. They decided to do 15 episodes and the 15th was where he was killed. Then last week, episode 16, there were flashbacks.
Josh is on to other things and actually wanted to get off the show before but was talked into what we saw. He will be missed. Michael J. Fox is just reprising his role as Louis Canning.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJiW...A15FF46C60FB26 I hope that Louis Canning's story arc is short -- he is annoying even if it is fun to watch Alicia get frustrated by him. Alicia could kind of start to get past her loss, but other characters are going to be reacting to the loss for a while as well -- Carey, Diane, . . . Matthew Goode is listed as a series regular. We will see more of Finn |

I love the show, but without this major conflict in the story line it will be interesting if they can keep it going...

The show began to move on from the sadness.
I loved Alicia and Peter working as a couple. The NSA kids are fun and I will miss them if we do not hear from them again. In some ways the episode felt like it was transitional -- like it was connecting us to the Will-focuesed episodes and whatever arc is coming before they wrap for the end of the year. I wish I could dress as well as Diane and Alicia do -- whoever puts their outfits together does an amazing job. M |

Poor Finn.
While the audience was sad about the distressed female characters we forgot that Finn was actually in same court room with Jeffrey Grant. Thank goodness Finn has Alicia to help him. Zach is so good and honest and knows his mother -- referring to the Florick family as a "business." I was a little surprised that Alicia doubted him. Usually he is protecting her. She usually knows that he is the ONE STAND UP guy in her whole life. So maybe this felt a little "off" to me this week. . . . Well as for which guy is more stand up. . . . . maybe Cary somewhat and Finn a lot -- we will see about Finn. I do not know where Owen is as far as being a standup guy. We can count on him to be loyal to Alicia. 'Hilarious that Eli can promise 7,00 signatures in an hour! The Colin Sweeney episodes are rather stupid and creepy as all get out, but we get to see Alicia managing both him and the law. ___ Josh Charles directed this one. So he was with us.
