Hello Kitt-

Not sure you have seen this thread which seems tone a VERY lengthy one which contains up to date conversations regarding this awesome show!

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread214981.html

As a SERIOUS animal lover it really hurt me seeing poor Isis (unfortunately named after our largest worldwide problem at this time- which is obviously not any reflection at all to the fantastic show and cast! )

For some odd reason my DVR didnt record an episode this past Sunday. Was there one broadcasted this past Sunday anyone?
Thanks!

The dog in the show was named after the Eqyptian "god" ISIS....nothing to do with the terrorist group! which is actually known as IS (despite media misnomers)

Just an extra titbit that the 5th Earl of Carnarvon (Highclere Castle, the family seat in Berkshire, is where Downton Abbey is filmed) is famous for discovering the tomb of Egyptian Pharoah Tutankhamun, along with Howard Carter, in the 1920s

This past Sunday was the 2 hour season finale and was broadcast on all PBS stations. Check your local PBS website for when they will do repeat showings or perhaps a video stream

Well, I won't need to watch any of it when it's aired here.

I already know what happens

[BTW, my little Persian Himalayan kitty who died a long time ago we called Isis. It suited her very much.]

Well, the preview ending with the return date January, 2016 at least confirms next year's season.

Lara,
Still not the same as watching all the little going on's downstairs, etc. We did not divulge any of them; especially one in particular scene. YOU MUST WATCH!!! Looking forward to hearing your take on Downton.
