I may pick up the show as my late night insomnia viewing. My wife had little interest, but history has always held interest to me and I think it also has a laundry list of exceptional actors and actresses... one of them being Rose Leslie... who played Ygritte on Game of Thrones... a character who utters the lines"You know nothing, Jon Snow" more than a few times, which for some reason or a few I cobbled into my user name.

But she is one of many, many reasons I am considering jumping on board. I have plenty of room to catch up with.

I was displeased at the end of series three so I have missed lots of episodes since then although i watched enough of the show these past two seasons to get the gist.

I watch for the costumes. I really wish I could connect better with the show. I feel that it holds back something that would help the audience feel more connected to it.

I will watch parts of season V when they rerun it just before season VI starts.
My hope is that VI will make sense plot-wise and that we have some satisfactory resolutions -- even if enough will be left open for the possibility of a future movie/broadway show.
