Default Dinosaur Jr, a Jonspective

For a long time Where You Been was the only Dinosaur Jr. album that I'd listen to. I thought that much of it. For a guy who isn't Dr. Feedback in a musical appreciation sense, Dino is an odd choice.

But they are so much more. They even touch on much of it on Where You Been. Out There got a ton of video play time on MTV, especially 120 minutes. The video is lamentable. Please do not quit the song over the it, avert your eyes!

In the last minute they pair bells with his guitar and it is incredible.

The song is very Mascis, "weren't you invited" a plaintive cry from the alienated to the alienated.

Enjoy.
