Default Please share your favourite cover song
Most of the time, I feel that cover songs are an insult to the original. However, occasionally, I hear a cover that I really like. My favourite is Kathleen Edward's cover of Tom Petty's "Face in the Crowd."

Didn't respond cuz I didn't know what a cover song was....so I looked it up and I don't know if this counts ....anne halthway character in enchanted singing Queen's somebody to love....

I'm a crazy Crowded House fan and there have been dozens and dozens, probably hundreds, of covers of Tim and Neil Finn songs. Astounding song writers.

Rufus Wainwright has done some great covers including "Across the Universe"

There are some great Van Morrison and Beach Boys covers around as well.
