1983 - Serious Moonlight Tour - Western Springs, Auckland, NZ . . . 80,000 people gathered on a beautiful November evening to see David Bowie - white doves were released at sunset as The Thin White Duke took to the stage.

I was 23, just returned from 18 months overseas, and it was the perfect welcome home . . . so memorable.

Standard Bowie mysteriousness that he kept his illness private until the end but left an amazing final album for his fans to celebrate his memory.
