Default Kindle

I only have use of one hand, could not hold book open or turn pages, got a Kindle (expensive but I missed reading) from Amazon, and already after 3, I need to download (really simple, wireless and can be done anywhere) a new book. And books bought this way seem cheaper.

I was looking at one of the reader type things this weekend at the mall. It was a sony but similar to kindle. I will check out the kindle though.

I like that they are easy on my aging eyes.

Looking forward to any good/bad you find about using Kindle, Kicker. I'd love to save my pennies and get one.

What books have you read on it?

I started reading the reviews then found that many came from people who didn't even own the thing.

That seems pretty stupid to rate something they never even tried.

Changing the print size so easy, Kindle remembers last book and any book page you left off in all books, new books download so quickly.(lots of choices too and they tell you where you can get free ones using the cord they provide you with for computer.)

I've read Divisadero by Michael Ondaaje (loved it - his words mesmorize me)(loved his The English Patient - have read parts several times), Are you there Vodka, It's me Chelsea by Chelsea Handi (To me, very mediocre, liked sample but book didn't stay good),Memorable Quotations:Humorists, Wits, and Satirists - love quotes, short easy reading when only have a minute. So in one little package could read something good and consuming, something kind of tacky really or short nifty, not-time consuming quotes. And DD has a book on it too, and iyt has plenty of room for more.

I don't use cover but hear it slips, Pictures in black and white but had no plan to download an art book or children's book, but love the ease of reading!!
All negatives I hear are small things. Love my Kindle!!!

If I lose it, drop it, etc. and buy another, Amazon know what books I've already bought and downloads them on new Kindle at no cost.
