I just finished reading The Shack. It is a Christian book but not too heavy. It really opened my eyes to how I view God and how He can be viewed (physically I mean) by someone else.
Really good read, with a good plot twist. I read it in less than a week because I had to see how it ended...Sue

I LOVED The Shack. I was interested in the author, so I went to the web site for the book(which is massive by the way). This is the first book he has ever had published, and it was published by accident. He wrote the manuscript for his kids, but let someone else read it, and they thought he it should be published.
It was one of the best books I've read in a long time. It surely changes the way you think about God. |

A friend of mine just called and we were discussing books. She also just finished The Shack and will be bringing it to me. I am sure I will also enjoy reading it. If she doesn't want the book back, I will be glad to pass it along to someone if anyone is interested.

I loved The Shack and have given it to several people. Mr.Alffe, who never reads novels read this one and raves about it.
There is a website that discusses it. http://theshackbook.com/discuss/inde...b&topic=3200.0

This was the first book I read on my new Kindle2 Snoozie and it was a real eye opener. It reminds you who is in charge.

I borrowed this one from my MIL and have it in my book stack to read. Look forward to it, as I've heard so many good things about it.

alot has been going on in my life - lots of changes ... I read it last summer after a friend called to talk and said that I needed to read it - so, I ran down to wally-world ... started reading it - couldn't put it down ... read it in 2-3 days ...
just the other day - I wanted to read something, and unpacked it and started reading ... so, glad I did - sure has helped me to refocus on what is important ... and how forgiveness is so powerful ...
