Grin Hello Harry Potter Fans

HUGE Harry Potter fan! Can't WAIT to see the upcoming movie in a few weeks. 3 hours of magic! lol

I was so sad when I read the last book, I so wish the story would go on and on and on!

So any other Potter fans out there? Books and movies?

I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan... I have read and re-read all of the books but due to my disability I am unable to go to a theater to see a movie...

I have seen the first 3 on dvd...

Is this new moving number 5???

If so.... what was number 4?

Thanks,

Abbie

Default hello

actually the new movie is the 6th, half blood prince. You still need the see Goblet of Fire and Order of the Pheonix. You should just go online and buy them. I am sure Half blood prince will be on out DVD by the fall...

I'll have to come back later to chat... I gotta get ready for work... buy

July 15th! Can't wait! The movies have taken on kind of a life of their own seperate from the storyline of the books, haven't they? It's interesting to see how they've adapted the books to the movie scripts.

Default hello

Yes I do feel that about the movies. I actually just watched Goblet last night. Ya know, when I saw it in the theater I really didn't like it. I had just finished the book and kept comparing the two. I also felt that both Hermoine and Dumbledoor's characters in the movie were so aggressive! Like they were over doing their parts. Hermoine's over reactions didn't bother me as much has Dumbledoor's because he never over reacts to anything... in the books he is always calm and never seems to worry at least not until Half Blood prince. that is what makes that scene at the end so emotional because he never gets upset or over emotional until then.

But now that I haven't read that book in so long, the movie didn't bother me as much. I am so hoping they don't rush Half Blood Prince... they have 3 hours... so we shall see!

I am excited for Half Blood Primce. I am going to a private screening of it on Juky 14th and expect I will go several more times while in ther theater.

I might actually try to reread the book before then.

And then we will have two more movies as they are splitting book 7 into two parts.

Default 2 movies yeah!!

yes, I was so happy to hear that they are spliting the last movie into two... no only does the spread the Potter wealth for an extra year but that way they will have no excuse to skip important parts.

Like Doby for instance... he has been such an important part of all of the books since the third and yet he was only in the 3rd movie. Nevile seems to take all his credit. I really hope Doby is in Prince and he better be in the last series... he plays a HUGE part in the last book.
