Aloha... I did not read the links yet but you quote there is the most important... I have taken care of many folks with varying degree of dementia and my best advise is... go into their world and relax and enjoy. I have seen so many family members try to bring them back to reality and it frustrates both. I just got home from working at our carehome... 5 residents...private care One lady I cared for came out of the bathroom with white paste all over her face... I spooked when I saw her and then got closer and could smell toothpaste Later I thought about it and almost wanted to try it... she might have something there
