Default Need help on recent post concussion diagnosis

I am very new here. I thought I might try this out. My fiance was recently diagnosed with post concussion syndrome and its been a very challenging road so far. Sometimes he remembers me other times he doesn't it's very off and on. Is that normal?

Hi bwest09,
Welcome to NeuroTalk.

I'm very sorry to read that your fiance has PCS. Serious memory problems as you describe would depend on the severity of the injury. It isn't something that I've seen posted very often but some of the members on the PCS forum (link below) may have more input.

Make a post on the
Traumatic Brain Injury & Post Concussion Syndrome Forum

take care.

Have you been able to go along with him for a doctor appointment? It would really give you a chance to ask questions which could help put your mind at ease.
