Default Attention Process Training

My husband suffered a cardiac arrest 18 months ago, 10 days in coma and diagnosis of hypoxic brain injury. His improvement is agonizingly S L O W . He is receiving weekly rehab mostly around using whiteboard and diary but he's quite opposed to it and can't see why it is helpful, is passive adn resistant to ideas although will have a go. Has anyone used Attention Process training in their rehabiliatation? You can download it but it's $800 so I wanted some advice about its efficacy first. His problems are memory and orientation, executive skills. Much of his day is spent on the couch. Thank you.

Hello Ozziejane,

I'm sorry for the delay in welcoming you to the NeuroTalk Support Groups.

I just wanted to suggest that you run a search for past posts by using the Forum Search Feature

I know there are some older posts/threads regarding attention processing training or attention process training on the Traumatic Brain Injury & Post Concussion Syndrome Forum

Perhaps if you post there you could get some feedback as well.
