I am caregiver to my husband and I'm glad he is not totally unable to do for himself....he does cook, he knows how to wash a load of clothes....as far as me taking care of myself...that's a joke, right?

I have NO health insurance and make a couple hundred a year too much to qualify for any state aid for medical for me. He has full coverage through SSDI
and a suppliment insurance. I only hope that I am able to be here for him since he no longer drives (his driving is extremely limited, he goes to my mom's two blocks away and my sister's which is two blocks further but driving in traffic really bothers him.)

I do have diagnosed sciatica, aside from that, I just have the normal aches and pains of old age. I have beginning signs of carpel tunnel and arthritis in my hands. (by the way...I'm also 58).
