Default little voices made of ticky tacky

when do i not have the little voices? often it is mom lecturing to me. that one is comforting because a part of her is still with me even after death. i imagine her critiquing my clothing choices, especially if i have an interview. sometimes the little voice has the conversation i can't have out loud with someone. then the little voice sticks up for the other guy so i have both perspectives. and people wonder why i am so quiet.
