Please excuse me. I just thinking maybe I shouldn't have posted. I understand that everyone with CP know lots more than I ever will. Sorry if this offended someone, I did not mean to seem like avoiding Aspartame is a cure or anything... Just came across this info and posted it.

i dont think you offended anyone this is one of our quietest forums so that is prolly why no replies Aspartame (aka Nutrasweet) is bad stuff IMHO. My son has Tourette Syndrome and it is a major tic trigger for him

Did you know that Aspartame turns in to formaldehyde when heated...
In other words... when heated it has the same chemical make up of formaldehyde. Abbie
