I'm just sifting through my bookmarks/favourites and found a couple of good articles that other people might be interested in reading.

Thank you for posting this. We are in the process of having our oldest screened for dyslexia. However, the "symptoms" listed in the article more aptly fit. I will inquire as to whether she will be tested for this also.

Hi MotherMoon.

I meant to reply to your post last week but I forgot.
I was wondering how old your daughter is that's being tested?
I found that site in my bookmarks because I was looking for something for my own daughter. She's not a child anymore but has been experiencing some unusual mix-ups with words and numbers lately in her part time job that I was trying to figure out. I remember being concerned about her years ago when she was about 11 but was told by her teachers that there was nothing to be concerned about. After that she did tend to plod along a little in school. Never finding it easy to really get stuck into it. Now I'm wondering if something like this has been totally overlooked in her.

So, I was just wondering how the testing is going, or how it went, for your daughter?
