Last time it was just "bring her in". This time they want her as sleep deprived as possible for her EEG.
OMG! YIKES! Zoe sleep deprived is NOT a pretty picture. I am scared. Hold me. |

LOL. When you're gonna need holding is when you get to the end of the eeg and Zoe's had a nice, but short, little nap and you HAVEN"T!...and exhausted little you have to get her home, then get her through the rest of the day...hopefully with BOTH of you awake so hopefully BOTH of you can be asleep at least part of that night.
we'll pray for you. cj |

you dont need holding, you need a bottle of wine!
I have two of them to do tommorow for the girls, and two next week for the boys. I may have a keg party when it's all said and done.

it ain't easy. got anyone who can go with you? I think if she naps a short time it won't be the end of the world...but better not. Maybe: music, a new toy tha tmakes a lot of noise. Loud music. roll the windows down so the wind blows. . um.... honk the horn a lo0t?

The thing is if Zoe wants to go to sleep, she WILL go to sleep. You can't force her to stay awake.

what did you do wit her last time? I've never done anything in particular for a sleep deprived EEG...just woke them up a hour earlier and they "performed" just fine.

Well in our case we sometimes find a way to go earlier like in a day or so.
But we have to go more than a hour, not sure. We also have to worry about whether its morning or afternoon. And then we have the rush hour of a really big town to come back through. So we just go with the flow. I've taken my next oldest in snow storms, to keep my youngest up, and a friend of his. Donna |
