Reason why you are here: My daughter Madeline began having seizures 5 years ago and in searching for knowledge and understanding I found this precious community!
Something fun about you: I count words and phrases on my toes trying to make them end on my pink toe. Ok, so that's more weird than fun...
What you like to do for fun: Surf my message boards, create Excel spreadsheets, read, crochet, play with my littles
What you do to relax: see above
Favorite thing to eat: Food

I would be cautious about posting your full name and location on the site. This is a public forum and anyone can come and lurk.

Name: TigerMa
Location: Indiana
occupation: Jack of many trades
Names and ages of Kids: Bugman 9, Katie bug 4
Reason here: Bugman has severe ADHD, some what eased by Adderal
Something fun about me: I like to laugh
What I do for fun: Enjoy my children and my friends
What I do to relax: "Relax" What's that????
Favorite thing to eat: STEAK mmmm

I'm looking for more knowledge to help my son. I have OCD and am wondering/afraid are some of his ADHD issues picked up from me. ex: He *hates* when things don't go exactly as planned. His new jeans are Regular not Slims (they have the little elastic adjustment band in them) so that means that he can't wear them. Not even to try them on. If his morning doesn't go just the way "he" thinks it should go it is a nightmare to get him ready for school.
Is this normal????, or is he just needing an excuse to act like a spoiled brat.........(Trust me he is not spoiled in any way shape or form).
He can be a very caring empathetic child, he just has his moments.
Any help ar advice would be greatly appreciated....
Thanks Tigerma

Ps. Have an appointment Monday to have evaluation for "Special Ed" assistance from his school.
Thanks again
TM
