32 month old with esotropia
My daughter called as she had just taken my grandson to pediatric eye spec. She said they diagnosed him with severe farsightedness and esotropia. WE had realized he would look at TV in an odd way and woul dhave to be right next to it. The presciption is for plus 3 lenses. I dont know exactly what this means as I know alot of other stuff but eye stuff confuses me. HE made a very big point of how these glasses have to be worn ALL the time. He explained that the brain is doing stuff that could make him blind in that eye if that is not done. He said that the brain changes at 7 (or was it 9) and the brain would stop trying to accomodate for this eye thing and until then it will be a big job.
Does anyone have experience with this?
