Default Wheeliebird, how's the move to your apt?

Have you gotten to move to your own apartment yet? How is that going?

I've thought of you often and wondering...

Thanks for asking Paula, your so sweet!

Well as of now I'l be moving in with a friend of mine who used to work here. I'd be living with her as a transitional period, you know moving from a nursing facility (where I'm at now) into her house, before getting my own place, just to get my feet "wet" before moving on to my own place. This way I could get my bearings in the community with finding a bank and other things out there I'd have to get used to. I've been living here for 25 yrs now and when I do leave its gonna be hard at first but this way my friend can help me with different things. Anyway, we're shooting for mid November for me to be living with her.

Robin,

I think that is a great transitional step--you're really being smart about this. I feel so proud and excited for you!
