Default Interview/Job Hunt Update

I posted on the old Braintalk 1 site this summer and asked for advice concerning my job search. I had been out of the workforce for two years (since my twins were born) and was worried that if I told a prospective employer about my girls, they would not want to hire me because of fears I would be out if the girls got sick, etc. Some people thought I should be upfront and others thought I shouldn't even mention I have any kids.

Anyway-GREAT news!- My headhunter thought we should market me as great lawyer (ha!) with special needs children who can do great work (again ha!) on a part time basis. I had two firms fighting over me! Big, prestigeous lawfirms in NYC. I ended up with an awesome three day a week position that is very flexible, working for nice people, doing interesting work and (Yay!) getting very well paid. I am stunned it was so easy.

So, I just wanted to share the approach.
