Parents fight with mental illness

I wrote a blog directed at parents with mentally ill children. This is a blog to let parents that deal with this everyday you are not alone. We struggle with her illness daily. I know as a parent this is a hard topic to discuss. I feel this is a topic that needs to be dicussed. So we do not feel alone.

I very much respect that. Here is another parent's voice: It's Not Mental (in that it is just illness.)

I really sympathized with what you are going through. I just don't feel that there is a whole lot of alternatives for this kind of health issue. Are medication working for your family?
