Default Hydrocephalus 9 year

Hi
I am hoping someone might be able to help, i am posting this on behafe of my neighbour who's son was born with Hydrocephalus and had a shunt put in at birth. To cut a very long story short, my neighbour has custody of his son (who has now be living with him for the past year) My neighbour was aware that his son suffered with headaches, but since he has been living with him he is very concerned at the amount of headachs the son gets, vomiting, looking pale, unsteady on his legs, not wanting to eat, these syptoms are almost a weekly thing and the hospital/NS has put it down to migraine and put my neighbours son on migraine medication. The medication has not helped and my neighbour feels there might be something wrong with the shunt, but the NS said if their was a problem with the shunt his symptoms would be constant ( a scan has not shown anything).
If anyone has any suggestions would appreciate any help.
