Default Penumonia for everyone!

The kids and I have penumonia. Somehow Michael has escaped this plague.

I took the kids to the peditrician today since they have been sick all week and the doctor wanted to see them. The doctor freaked out over me and was like, the kids should be fine in a week or two but thought I was critical. They took my pulse ox and apparently I am at around 85%. They gave me a breathing treatment and said if I do not start to feel better within 3 days that I need to go to the ER because they think I could die. Apparently if you cough up green stuff with red streaks in a doctor's office, you get treated like you are going to die or something. They wanted to send me to the ER via ambulance, but I refused. I asked them if they could watch the kids while I went sarcastically.

Oh and if the kids aren't better by Saturday, both of them could be hospitalized. Hell, if we all are we should get a big room with 2 cribs and a bed. This sucks.

(((Hugs))) and prayers for good health. Take care of yourself, rest as much as possible, drink plenty of liquids. Tell Michael to come home, or get some other help. Don't be the hero. Too many people have died from pneumonia.

AAWW, ((((((Kamie)))))),

You know when you sent Michael to the store to 'pick up a couple of things,' you should have been more specific

I'm hoping you feel better soon. I had a bout of bronchitis-pneumonia-bronchitis about 15 years ago -- was sick for two months. Wouldn't wish that on anybody. Felt like I got run over by a leaky garbage truck.

Take care of yourself, sugar. That's one of the most draining, exhausting viruses/germs that's around. Don't try to be a hero. They don't give gold stars anymore

BIG HUGS (and love).

Barb
