Question Brain MRI results

Can anyone help me interpret the following MRI results for a child 3.5 years old:

"Abnormal signal of the perirolandic cortices, subjacent white matter and bilateral thalami, consistent with remote prior insult"

What physical signs should I see from this damage?

Any feedback would be helpful.
Thanks.
