Default Concussion

Hello everyone! Last week my 12 year old son had a concussion - he fell at school. The dr. said it was mild, my son did not faint, did not throw up, was dizzy and sleepy on day one, but ok afterwards. He does karate and plays a tuba, so was told not to do it for a while. Now he feels fine, and i want him to do at least some form of exercise, he is a pree-teen who can not sit still. I thought i would take him to restorative yoga class, which is not heated, provided he does not do any downward dogs. Would it be safe? How soon can he resume his regular activities? I really want him to recover fully before he starts running or sparring again.
Thank you!
