Ataxia affects about 10% of people with cerebral palsy. I am indebted to my partner for this information - she was the boss psychologist of a local CP agency for many years.

I suggest that you contact a professional cerebral palsy agency - they will be able to do a proper assessment of your son and, depending, suggest appropriate treatment.
