G'day.

Here you are folks. What some of you have been waiting over 6 years to see.

Grant the champ unmasked

Here he is only weeks after we started caring for him (he was 12 months old).

Here he is paying attention a touch older.

Here we are cutting the cake on his 18th Bday

To be continued.

Thumbs up Grant Again In The Newspapers :)

Here he is in the newspaper two days after the 18th Bday.

And here is the newspaper article two days after his 18th Bday

You can see the image of the other article that appeared in 1990. Oh, Oh. We weren't supposed to do that

In fact that article appeared two days before we had the yearly review. When we arrived at the Department's office and saw the person, he had the newspaper in front of him and said that the head of the Department would also have the newspaper in front of him!. We were ticked off good and proper.

For those of you who want to print this photo for posterity, here is a link where the photos are residing

www.greatopportunitiesforyou.com/images/GRANT

Grab one while their hot and print it out for your Grant album

Don't you reckon he is the most handsome champ in all the world, except for your own kiddies of course

Thank you for looking. I will post more photos of Grant soon.

seeya.

Paul, Alison and Grant the champion

Thumbs up

Oh, WOW, ((((((Paul))))))!!

I can see why you and Alison fell in love with Grant as soon as you laid eyes on him -- what a sweet baby

You guys have truly participated in (and facilitated) a miracle!!

He's a handsome young man, Our Champ. Much better looking than the 'laughing man' face that I last saw him with (That's a reference to 'Ghost in a Shell', in case you're not an Anime fan )

Oh, thanks for sharing, Paul. You and Alison have chosen such an incredible life-path. Truly an inspiration. Pretty darn rewarding, too, I'll bet. Bless you both. And BIG HUGS (and love) for everybody!!

Yes Paul,
Grant is very handsome and certainly was a beautiful one year old. His looks remind me of Aidan, who I think looks like an angel, of course.
Thanks for sharing. It was thrilling to finally see him. The old masks and blurring out of his face kind of disturbed me. I know how it goes with fostering though. BTW, we are about to get Legal guardianship ourselves. Our change in status has been approved and the process is well under way. It should be finalized by November, along with the adoption of Ariana.
Congratulations!
Heather

How exciting! What a handsome man he has grown into!

Doctors once predicted that Molly wouldn't live to see her first birthday, so following Grant's life is an inspiration to us and fills us with hope! Thank you so much for sharing!

Sooooo wonderful to see Mr. Grant aka always and forever our "Champ" unveiled. What a great milestone to turn 18 and get to smile for the camera, too!

So nice to see the uneditted pictures. (Uh, they were uneditted, right?) And it's so good to have you posting again. Belated Happy Birthday, Grant. Here's to the next 18.
