Default How'd You DO that? (re:Braintalk registration)

so....those of you who've posted on the reborn old/new Braintalk board...How did you do that?

I've re-registered but haven't received the e-mail reply to finish the registration. Do I just need to be patient and wait? or is there some detail I'm missing and therefore not doing?

Good DAy all!

After I registered, a message popped up saying that I would be unable to post until I received the email. Once you receive the email, you have to enter the site using the link on the email in order to finish registration.

Seems others are having similar challenges.

I don't know anything beyond that. I haven't yet received my email.

My guess is there are so many people registering at once it might take a while for the emails to generate. Do we have a thumb twidling smiley?

ETA Has this site gone wonky for others? It is losing half my posts.

Thumbs down

I wouldn't wish this prob on anyone, but I'm relieved to see that it's not just me. I reg'd at about 7:30 this morning and still haven't rec'd a confirmation msg and can't post to the boards. It must be some strange glitch. Anywho, I had someone post to forum feedback about it, so I hope John catches wind and fixes it.

You all might want to check any spam filters you have going, if you have one. I registered this morning and got my email in minutes.

I'm sure that's right....it's a forum with a BIG population. So many trying to register at once may have backlogged that system...plus he's also still installing bits of it and trying to resurrect old data so that may be slowing it down too. I'm willing to be patient...just didn't want to be stupid and THINK I was being patient.

If only my SPAM filter were doing it's job well this week. and the pop-up blocker. Man!

I know! they should put the activation e-mail in a pop-up and I would get it instantaneously!
