Default Rsd

Hi there
I am 12 years old and I have just been diagnosed with RSD in my left foot. My leg is completley in eversion (its held outwards) I was just wondering if anyone could answer my question,
Because I am still growing does this mean my foot will be deformed forever, will my bones grow wrong? (please be aware that I didnt break my ankle)
My local hospital have already tried putting it in plaster but the problem was I kept having muscle spasms and the pain got so bad that they had to take it out. When it came out of plaster it went back into eversion. Does anyone have any ideas of what the hospital may have to do to get it back into a natural position??
Please reply
Many thanks
Alison

Default Once more

Ali,
This is the summertime and the boards are slow because people are vacationing, taking care of children, moving to new homes, etc. I'm just so sorry about your foot. I don't really know much about RSD. I was just going thru the boards when I saw your second post. Please be patient, someone will answer you. What do the doctors say?

Heart

Alison,

Please direct all your questions to the RSD board, not here... no one with RSD comes here to read, we stay at the RSD board, so I highly doubt your question was seen by anyone who could answer it. Maybe you could ask over there, k?

Hope things are improving! Email me when you can!!

Many pain free hugs! xxxxxxxxxxxxx
