Because sometimes we don't realize that we step on toes. I'm going to make a promise, and request a promise too.
See I know that in this forum will come many parents that have been the brunt of sick jokes, hurt feelings, and unkind thoughts. But I also know that we here aren't wanting to hurt anyone on purpose. And I also know that at times its very much possible that someone will get their toes stepped on. Its like when a troll comes into a site and tries to make two or more in a site fight with each other. Or when someone comes in and accuses someone of trashing their world somehow. I know that a year ago I stepped on some toes of a very dear friend and she still wont forgive me even though I've apologized many times, begged, written in a public forum, no not this one, even though she used to come here. And have sent her private emails, pms and every other thing I can think of to request that she forgive me. I lost a dear friend because I misunderstood a request not to publically put a piece of information on the site we were on, stating prayers were needed. So now I always double check, and I always send special PM's if I believe I need to apologize and beg for forgiveness. So if anyone should receive one from me, that is why. And I would like to request that if anyone thinks they might have hurt someone in such a way that they too could take this same action. So that our world and our room can stay a happy one. Donna |
