Default Other meds safe for sleep issues?

Ok, we ditched the Rozerem...

So what is available that safe for children? or at least has been studied and has a list of things to look out for...

What about something natural? We have done Melatonin off and on for a year (or longer?)

I am at my wits end, we have done all of the typical bed time routines, and rules... in the total silent dark she plays with her feet, fidigits with the blankets that will last about an hour before the vocalizations start, those can last for hours. story time, quiet activities, nothing with sugar or caffine, bla bla bla... I am lost ...and desperate...

Denae

Have you tried the warm milk for one thing. Thats the only thing besides
brushing I can think of right now.

And soothing music.

Yea, even before the sleep issues she got a sippy of warm milk to go to sleep..

We have even been so desperate that her dad gave her a bottle of milk to no avail other than making her scream for another bottle....

Denae,
I found this link. It looks pretty good. I've done lots of searching for something safe even for Megs when she goes thru her sleep stuff. I might order this.....It is worth taking a look at, and it is natural.
