Default Have a question

A friend visited a very sick infant today and the mother said the cause was Auto Hardy Syndrome.

I believe she mis-heard the words correctly (I've tried looking it up).

She asked me to check on the internet.

It's a seizure disorder.

Anyone know the correct name?

Thanks much

Melody

No, I don't think it's that.

She said it sounded like

Auto Hardy Syndrome.

I know she got it wrong.

I can't ask any questions of the mother because this is in another state and they live right next door to my gal friend.

What a sad story.

I've been praying for this baby.

I got the correct name of the syndrome.

It's Ohtahara Syndrome.

I looked it up. It's named after a doctor.

Sad stuff.

Yes Melody it is very sad stuff.

But then when a infant has seizures it can be very rough on the family.

They are sometimes the hardest to control and when they are diagnosed
its usually bad syndromes.

Sending prayers.
