So I saw my regular doc today and she is just as confused as I am.
It's basically impossible to tell if my increased muscle pain and distress is caused my the near miss accident, or by a holiday flare, or a stress flare, or an actual progression of my connective tissue disease. To make matters worse, the lab screwed up on some of my blood work (forgot to do some very important tests) and then we go to the pharmacy and find out that I need yet anoher prior authorization for my meds because it is a new year (I just got a prior auth in october when my dose changed so I didn't think I needed another one just because the calendar changed). Life sure is frustrating sometimes. But the very good news is that I was able to see 2 of my sisters tonight. It's always good to see any of my sisters... although it's scary to see how grown up they are now and it makes me feel old cause I used to change their diapers. I'm over 30 and they are both under 20. We are trying hard to create a friendship with each other rather than a big sister, little sister relationship where they see me as some sort of authority figure (which I was for most of their lives). It's not easy for any of us to change the dynamics of our relationship, but we are trying. Anyway, it's been a long day for me, so I should go to bed and rest. Liz

Hi Liz,
Just saw your post. Wow, I'm sorry this happened. I do hope you are doing better. Thank goodness the guy that caused the whole thing is a good guy. It could have been alot worse if he wasn't. I do hope that whatever the problem is, that it isn't too serious. Take care and let us know how you are doing. Gentle Hugs, Linda |
