i havnt be diagnosed with DDD, but am showing all the symptoms... im only 17, and dont know what to do. ive talked to my dad multiple times about seeing a doctor, but we have health insurance and money problems. im not asking for a diagnosis on here, just saying...

i tried things like stretching my neck which i read is suppose to help, but it only relieves the pain while im stretching it, and it gets worse afterwards. Tylenol or any other medications like that dont do anything, at all. ive had a messed up neck for about 5 or so years now, but the burning didnt start till last month, and ive only been having tingling for a few months... if its not DDD, then idk what it would be. this is all i could find about what i could have...

These are serious symptoms for an adult - let alone a kid. You need to see a doctor - NOW.

Does your school have a nurse? Talk to her/him about your symptoms and situation. S/he may have some advice on how you can get to see a doctor about this.

Default Tens machine, swimming

I have found the use of a tens machine really helps when I have spasms relating to my ddd. I have it through out my spine. Swimming is also my best medicine. 7 years ago I started with one lap and not knowing how to breath right. Now I swim 45 min. of laps and have learned to breathe with ease, all from the help of YOU-tube videos on swimming. It takes a lot of patience and belief in yourself...but you can do it.Swimming helps keep your spine in line, strengthens the muscles around the spine so that it does not shift easily, and the actual water time does something miraculous for my pain. Even on days that I can't swim as much, just getting in the pool makes me feel so much better. I hope you find exactly what works for you! hang in there.
