About 3 weeks ago I had the implant surgery for the DRG. Things have not been going well. I had the trial back in May- 1st time in over 26 years pain free. The trail was wonderful.
The implant surgery and the weeks since have been a total mess. I had no clue how much different the implant would be from the trail.I had no clue how much wrong information about the surgery and recovery I was given. I have had the drg remapped- and reprogrammed several times- After 3 weeks its just starting to be somewhat helpful. Communication with my doctor has NOT been good. I am discovering things I should have known weeks before the surgery such as my diagnosis. Thank you - |

Whoah ... it’s only been three weeks so don’t panic. What is the issue with the Doctor? It does take a while to get the impulses right ... in saying that, I had a second lot of leads put in my back and it took about 5 minutes before the sensations were covering all the areas of my sciatic pain. It was just a huge disapointment that I ended up having to have everything removed and there is no way they can put anything back due to scar tissue. I hope you get some help soon. See if you can speak to another Doctor. It’s your body, stay strong! |
