Hi CaraSurf88,
First, let me say that it could be a lot of things; I can only relate my personal experiences. Have they x-rayed you for arthritis? Any blood work? If you haven't yet, try googling cracking joints and (pun intended) bone up. It started for me during college too. I'd concentrate on something so hard (working/concentrating/studying) - especially during creative efforts - that I'd subconsciously tense up, not notice, and then... WHAM! It's just the way I am. I've just had to learn to remember to constantly relax, stay loose, move around, etc. Doc
