Default Cervical Traction

Hello everyone; Just wondering if anyone has had cervical traction done before? PT is going to try this with me this week. Does anyone know if this is dangerous? If it helps I am all for it! I guess if it hurts I will just say stop!!
Thanks in advance for any info.
