Default RSD/CRPS Help needed

I have beed fighting this for almost a year now. It is in left foot and now all the way to my knee. It is starting in right foot. I had a root canal done 5 days ago and I am in agony. I am on anti-biotics. The only thing I can come up with is it is RSD as well.

I am so tired of being dismissed. My limb is purple. My hair is not only stopped growing it is falling out. I am a 46 year old balding woman. My leg shines as if it were made of glass. I am now having what I describe as mini seizures. I twitch almost constantly.

I get nerve blocks every 6 weeks and they last for four hours. I go to PT faithfully. I take 3 Percocet a day along with 2 different anti convulsents. My pain manager wants me to go on LDN. I am not happy at all with this. My pain is increasing everyday. I have researched LDN. It works but there are to many side effects for me to deal with at this point.

Please I need input.

Mona,
I am so sorry you are suffering so much. I have had alot of friends and clients (I am a licensed hairdresser) that have been able to completely stop hair loss and regrow their hair back by using a product called Nioxin. There is a shampoo and a conditioner called scalp therapy. You must use both and continue using even after hair stops falling out (this may take up to two weeks) . This is not a cheap product, it will cost you about $30 a bottle but it is worth every penny. I would freak if my hair started to fall out and all my friends told me this was the worst thing that had ever happened to them. If you know or can find a sympathetic hairdresser, they can buy this for a lot cheaper at the beauty supply store for you. I have not had this product fail on anyone who did what I said. I use it sometimes to grow my hair long fast. It also clarifys (cleans off all meds, environmental toxins etc.) if you leave the shampoo on for 15 min before rinsing. It cleans off the DHT which is what causes hair loss. Trust me on this.
As far as the pain is going I am not sure what you are saying your doctor wants to change you to. I think you are saying long acting narcotics from Percocet. Is that correct? Let me know and I will tell you more on that as I am on the long acting MS Contin.

Thanks so much for the info I will get the Nioxin. I really hope it works Will it help it grow back?My Dr wants to take me off of Percocet and put me on a low dosage of naltroxine combimed with nasal spray ketemine.

I am a guinea pig at the moment as from what I understand they only have myself and another patient with rsd ath the clinic.

I feel as if they are not hearing me. I am in pain and they (Dr's ) Just look at me with that blank look in their eyes and ask me what I think they should do about it. When I tell them to fix it or please treat it.....all of them say "I do not write scripts go see your family Dr. " WTF. At least my family Dr takes some type of action some of the time.

OK there is my rant for the day

Default Yes it will regrow your hair

Hi,

I am so glad you saw my reply. Yes the Nioxin will regrow your hair back. You must use the shampoo and the scalp therapy every day. Even after your hair comes back. I promise this has worked for every one of my friends and clients who use it.

I know what you mean about the doctors. Unfortunately, it takes a while of trying all their medications before they finally get to the point where they see you need pain medication. It sounds to me like this is what you need. Keep looking for a doctor that treats pain aggressively. You can talk to a patient advocate at your local hospital for a referral to a pain specialist. That is how I was able to get in to my doctor.

I hope you are able to get some relief soon. Don't give up. Good luck. I will have you in my prayers.
