I have had the same thigh hip groin and knee pain for months. I too have fribo so every time I go to dr. They tell me it's only fibro. I was diagnosed with fibro over 16 yrs ago so I know the difference in the pain this is not fibro,I also have burning stiffness and bad pain in my neck have it daily have had that for years, I was on lyrica did nothen for me excepted I gained weight and hands and feet swelled so cannot take it,my meds don't touch any of this pain,I also have been told I need to learn to live with it,but this, but this pain I can't deal with it some days |

I have suffered for several years with pain that starts in the groin and radiates down to the knee. It can be one or both legs, sometime the right only or the left, there is no pattern. Rarely it can go from the knee to the ankle. I have tried Lyrica, Lortab, Advil, nothing works. A heating pad offers some relief but, the only thing that helps completely are nerve blocks. They last 3 months or longer. Do your homework to make sure its for you but, if your pain is unbearable like mine, it will be a blessing! Im still not sure exactly what causes my pain but, the block stops the nerve signals to your brain. I couldn't live without them. Hope this helps!!

Hi kellie, I had severe groin pain that went down my legs about 3 months ago. The pain became so unbearable that my husband had to take me to the ER. I was diagnosed with fibroids. Not saying that it's the same diagnosis for you but I would go and get it checked out. I hope things get better for you!!!!

I am also having this problem which surfaced a couple of years ago. A close friend of mine told me he had an episode of this pain and he suggested I do the same thing he did. He went to his chiropractor who did an alignment of his spine which straighten his gate when he walked. I did the same and hadn't had anymore problems until now. I work in the oil fields in Colorado and for the last 3 weeks it is all I can do to move around. Heading back home to Texas today and first thing I do is go see my chiropractor. The allignment gets rid of the pain.
