I was diagnosed with a severe case of tendonitis, its has been chronically bugging me for close to 4 years now. It started with my inside right elbow. Now my left bicep tendon and both forearms, both my shoulders. I've had blood tests done for (inflammation/erythrocyte sedimentation/antinuclear antibody/reumatiod arthritis) everything came back negative and very confused why I am still in chronic pain. I'm determined to figure out what's going on though. I grew up on a farm and wrestled until freshman year of high school. I have also been bodybuilding for a few years now, but have since put everything on hold for a couple months meaning no gym/nothing strenuous at all. I've done different types of manual labor jobs throughout the years. I am now recenty laid off from work for the winter. My diet is pretty clean and feel I am doing things right by taking it extremely easy but nothing has been working at all, haven't felt healthy or 100% for some time now. I have been taking it easy as the doctors say having many separate opinions from different doctors/physical therapists/urolgist/personal trainers/chiropractors. The list goes on and on, that's why I am on here trying to get another opinion seeing if any of you have similar problems.
Any advice would be most appreciated. Thanks |

Jo*mar had a good suggestion about the TOS thread.
I'm just starting my journey with small fiber neuropathy that affects my feet, legs and hands. I started having 'extra' pain in my left foot a few months ago. They say I have tendonitis on the outside of my left foot but nothing has helped. Just went through a round of steroids just in case it was inflammation. I'm going to chalk it up to my SFN. I'm so sorry you are going through this. Other posters will follow us and hopefully they will have much helpful advise for you. Welcome to the site Debi from Georgia |

Debi,
If I recall correctly; you had problems with migraines. When I have had steroid treatment or steroids in general; the migraines are "off the wall". I had a procedure done a few years ago. My migraines were awful. I told a rep at the clinic; "if I didn't know better, I would have thought I had been given steroids". She told me "yes", you were given an injection after the procedure. I had thought of asking you if you had had any seroids. This could very well have set yours off. Sometimes; even tho event is over; the trigger results in a response that can start them up again lasting quite some time. Gerry |

I have had cortizone shots in a few various areas, also have been prescribed on naproxen, diclofenac, glucosamine chondotriton, fish oil, multivitamin, ibuprofen 4 pills 3x day. I don't take anything but fish oil and multivitamin now because I feel I have become immune to the rest of it.
I'm pretty stumped as to what to is and has been going on with my body. |

I'm guessing you stay as far away from steroids as you can Dr Smith did mention I might want to try and get off the Tenormin and I am going to talk to my PCP dr about it but the thoughts of having those migraines again scared the you know what out of me ! Thanks Debi from Georgia |
