Default Cold laser for pain treatment?

Anyone ever try cold laser treatment for neck pain(or any pain)?
Your experiences?

(My 13 yr old cat has arthritis in her front legs and her vet is starting this next week and I started to look into it for people...I had never heard of it for pain control.)

Here is just something I found on YouTube:

At the risk of you might try the archives; there have been several discussions/threads.
In addition to cold laser, try light therapy.

My chiro had a cold laser- they can also be called low level laser and soft laser...

It worked great for my misc spot pains - elbows, shoulder, ankle, low back, wrist..
I don't know if it could do much for nerve based pain.
But soft tissue/joint it worked well..
