Probably a dumb question and I'm going to put a call in to the Ortho tomorrow morning but is it normal to have severe pain...as in the highest dose of
Norco is not touching it...8 days after breaking the calcaneus? (heel bone) I fell on some steps on the 18th during one of my dizzy spells. I'm doing everything the Dr said to do, elevate the foot so I have it up on 3 pillows and also sleep like that. Anyone had this happen to them? The pain is terrible and seems worse. |

Sorry, no—but prolly worth touching base with your doctor then.
I assume you're being vigilant about any changes—color, swelling, etc. broken heel bone Doc

He was in agony with it for days, later he described the pain as possibly worse because it came from somewhere he never had injured previously or expected to ever injure. Hope you get some relief soon

Thanks Doc, Ortho wants me to go back in tomorrow as he's concerned about the pain and the numbness...forgot to mention my big toe and top of foot are numb.
Keeping foot elevated. Pamela: Sorry your husband went though this, it has to be the worst pain, hope his is okay now. |
