Hi Diandra,
I used to also take IV supplements. I had spent thousands of dollars on them. Could no longer afford them. I did injectable B-complex, as well. All very helpful. I also used to inject a liver extract, called Kutapressin, which was prescribed by a CFS/CFIDS researcher many, many years ago now. For a natural approach, I have used methl-B12, D-Ribose, CoQ10, Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALCAR) and Alpha Lipoic Acid. Magnesium is important for energy as well. For pharmaceuticals, I have tried Provigil (headaches), Nuvigil (headaches), Ritalin and also dextroamphetamine salts (Adderall). Ritalin , used intermittently, was helpful for a couple of years. I then found Adderall helpful. I had to stop Adderall after I had sustained a TBI and PCS from a random assault in a city park (in broad daylight). I have been more irritable and have had an rather chronic reactivation of PTSD since that assault/mugging and cannot take stimulants at all. I've needed seizure meds since the assault, to "calm" the brain. I believe these stimulants may deplete some neurochemicals when used long-term. I need to check on this info, as it's been awhile and my cognition has suffered since the TBI 2 years ago. I want to mention Jarrow Neuro Optimizer to you. http://www.pharmaca.com/Brain-Suppor...9/5346/Product See what you think of the Jarrow formula. I think Life Extension has a similar formula. Hope this helps. To Our Healing, DejaVu |
