Hello all
Just came across this article about a study to do with Chronic Pain, Trigger Points and Diagnosis. It's quite complex and I haven't read it all yet and can't claim to understand everything I have read so far but it seems relevant to many topics here so posting the link for others who may be interested. http://rheumatology.oxfordjournals.o...Shg4fj4QoqzoNx Also adding this link to a reply to the original article: http://www.pudendalnerve.com.au/2015...w-dr-quintner/ Last edited by bluesfan; 08-29-2015 at 05:47 PM. More trigger point info-
http://www.pain-education.com/trigger-points.html https://www.painscience.com/tutorial...ger-points.php http://www.triggerpointproducts.com/checkyoursymptoms http://www.myofascialtherapy.org/symptom-checker/ http://www.triggerpoints.net/ And much of it is doable for your self , unless reaching or pressing the various spots is problematic. A good friend may be able to help. I've also used tennis ball, dog ball, golf ball, against a wall or down on the floor for even more pressure. be creative. But sometimes you just need a professional to get you started, if extreme or so many that no way can you address them all. Various ways to treat them also, manually, acupuncture, injections, sometime soft laser or ultrasound can be used..
